SHAUN PEARMAN EXPERIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY: Shaun is an experienced trial lawyer, having handled domestic, civil, probate, and criminal cases for over 20 years. He also handles business, corporate, real estate matters and estate planning. His philosophy is to try to resolve a legal problem first by taking a reasonable, fair and economical approach to the case. However, if the opposition is unreasonable or overreaching, he will take the case to trial. The way to win inside and outside the courtroom is to be well prepared, know the law, and accurately assess the facts on both sides of the case. Also, it is essential to fully advise every client as to what the law is, what options are available, and what the risks and benefits of each approach may be. As a result, he has remained active with the trade group, Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (www.isri.org), and its local affiliate, the: Rocky Mountain Chapter, Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries, monitoring legislation and regulations and working with legislators to protect the recycling industry and to encourage recycling. Shaun has been involved in helping to write or amend several Colorado statutes affecting the recycling industry.
